UK boutique hotel operator Eden Hotel Collection has begun work on a £6m (US$9.2m €8.3m) luxury spa at the Mallory Court Hotel, located near Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, England.

Eden is working with Spa Creators and NH Interiors on the build, its first full-scale spa development. The hotel group currently runs Elan Spas at three of its eight properties, and is aiming to create a destination spa for Warwickshire, as well as offering facilities and membership to the local community.

Due to open at the end of 2016, the spa will use energy-efficient techniques and state-of-the-art design to create a spa in keeping with the historically listed building, the company said. Further details of the spa will be available in the coming months.
