Fleecy blankets have made a big impression with spas and hotels alike this year. There is an emerging trend to use the blanket as a method of dressing the treatment bed or relaxation beds.
BC Softwear introduced the Fleecy blanket in response to a growing need for an alternative to the traditional duvet used in face and body treatments to keep the client warm.
A number of BC Softwear’s customers had mentioned the additional cost incurred of laundering duvets and the issue with staining and odours. The acrylic Fleecy blanket has been a very welcome solution. The blanket is super-soft to the touch with a satisfyingly heavy feel. The fabric, in contrast to its thickness, is easy to wash at low temperatures.
Woodland Spa, in Burnley, UK, and the overall Global Winner at the World Luxury Spa Awards, has used the Fleecy blankets for all its treatment rooms.
The new Lime Tree Spa at Milford Hall in the UK is another example of a spa that has taken on this new Fleecy blanket. It purchased the blankets for guests to snuggle into after treatments in its deep relaxation area. The acrylic blankets are super warm, soft to the touch and give a luxurious finish to the treatment bed which looks so striking when embroidered with a large company logo.
