Miramonte Resort officially opened its Tuscan-inspired destination spa on 9 May.
The 12-000sq ft spa, named The Well, will centre around 10 outdoor and 9 indoor treatment suits, four mud bars, two riverside treatment benches and a watsu pool.
Treatments are Mediterranean-themed and include rosemary and olive oil scrubs, a number of body wraps – including a Mediterranean organic vegetable wrap – and a selection of seaweed, wine and mineral baths.
Facials are based on Italian ingredients and guests can also enjoy the floating treatments at the watsu pool.
The Well will also offer a full range of daily fitness classes and outdoor activities, including dosha yoga, a mix of Ayurvedic principles with yoga postures; hydro yo-chi, a combination of yoga and T’ai Chi in water; floated guided meditation and traditional T’ai Chi.
The 11-acre Miramonte Resort incorporates a 215-room village and an Italian-inspired restaurant called Brissago.
