The recent Cosmeeting event at Beyond Beauty 2007 in Paris saw the debut of a new organic skincare line called Edelbio.
The Swiss company of the same name has its laboratory and operations in Geneva and simultaneously launched its 10-SKU product line in both Europe and the US.
Edelbio says that its target market is women and girls together, focusing on beauty as a shared moment - a bonding experience.
The new collection consists of a range of products for women - cleansers, a mask and serum, moisturisers, a rinse-free cleanser and facial cream for sensitive skin, a body wash and a body lotion - and four products for girls of all ages - a facial cream, a rinse-free cleanser, a bubble bath and a body lotion.
All are certified organic and carry the Swiss BIOCOSC label; this indicates that they contain no synthetic chemicals or artificially processed ingredients. Neither are they tested on animals.
All contain the company's Organic Swiss Alps Complex, a blend of several plants native to Switzerland and said to contain natural anti-oxidants and radical-scavengers with protective and healing properties beneficial to women and girls of all ages.
