Our Travel Kits empower our partners to enhance guests’ wellbeing at multiple touchpoints, from arrival to turn-down service and departure
– Michael DeLeeuw
Wearable aromatherapy supplier Essence has unveiled a new Travel Amenity Kit designed to enhance wellness experiences for hotel and resort guests before, during and after their stay. The set aims to support hotel partners in providing an elevated, multi-sensory experience that promotes relaxation and rejuvenation on the go.

At the heart of the kit are Essence’s innovative silicone nasal rings, infused with essential oils and designed for discreet, comfortable wear around the septum. Available in various scents and custom blends to boost energy, relieve stress and ease nausea, the translucent rings can also be purchased plain for personalised oil use. The rings are reusable after washing and re-soaking, offering a sustainable customisable aromatherapy solution.

"Essence Rings are versatile and can be used anywhere – from spas and hotels to hospitals, aeroplanes, yoga studios and even sports fields," said Michael DeLeeuw, founder of Essence.
"Our Travel Kits empower our partners to integrate wellness into multiple guest touchpoints, from arrival to turn-down service and beyond."

Each kit includes a five-pack of nasal rings, essential personal care items and a reusable case. Hotels can co-brand the kits and create signature oil blends with low minimum orders, providing guests with a memorable wellness experience that extends beyond their stay.

Wellness solutions for business travellers
The Travel Amenity Kit has also been designed with business travellers in mind and offers a cost-effective way for operators to promote wellbeing during conferences and events.

Recently, Caesars Entertainment, a key partner of Essence, featured the rings at the Global Wellness Forum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and distributed them at IMEX 2024, the world’s largest business events trade show.

Looking ahead, Essence will be featured at Caesars’ 7-State Wellness Roadshow and the PCMA Conference in 2025.

"Personalised, wearable aromatherapy aligns perfectly with our wellness initiatives for conferences and events," said Reina Herschdorfer, director of marketing for Caesars national meetings & events. "Studies show that wellness activations enhance endorphin levels, increasing attendee engagement and fostering stronger connections."

Essence’s expanding hospitality portfolio includes partnerships with brands such as Caesars Entertainment, Four Seasons, Marriott, Montage, Rosewood and Omni, spanning the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Essence
St George Utah 84790 United States
Essence was started in 2018 after founders Michael and Tami Deleeuw returned from several unpleasant smelling airplane rides. They knew there had to be a way to have aromatherapy on the go, and after a lot of R&D, they found a material that would absorb essential oils and release the scent over time, and the Essence ring was born.
