Hi-tech water purification for Murad Spa

The Murad Medical Spa in California has recently installed Wellness Showers from Wellness Enterprises for post-treatment rinses.

The spa, a leader in anti-ageing, hydrating water treatments, says it made the move in order that clients can benefit from the added anti-ageing properties offered by the showers.

Both a water purification and enhancement system, the shower is said to filter out up to 99 per cent of water’s contaminants (chlorine, chloramines, etc) and also features a patented magnetic treatment stage designed to protect the skin from free radical attack, aid the body in repairing damaged skin and hair and increase hydration.

It also adds volcanic minerals to the water - Taicho stone to assist the body resist bacteria and fungus, and Bakuhan stone to help accelerate the healing of damaged skin, reduce inflammation and hydrate skin and hair.

The shower lasts approximately 2-3 years and used cartridges can be recycled.

Murad is also retailing the Wellness Shower to clients for spa-quality hydration at home.
