Blake Hughes has spent over 18 years in the beauty and cosmetic industries
Murad has appointed Blake Hughes as general manager - Europe, a newly-created position. He has more than 18 years of experience in the beauty and cosmetic industries and has previously held global commercial, marketing and strategy appointments at Procter & Gamble, Elizabeth Arden and Marks & Spencer.

He will report to Richard Murad, general manager of LA-based Murad Inc, which recently completed the acquisition of distribution partner Murad UK. From its London head office, Murad UK will operate as the headquarters for the UK and Europe.

In the new role, Hughes will be responsible for driving brand growth, equity and profitability across retail, spa, e-commerce and home shopping channels.

“It is our hope to grow the UK business exponentially over the next several years and also make it a hub for activity and education for all of Europe,” said Murad.
