Kay Pennington announces new brand ambassador role with Image Skincare UK

Professional skincare and spa brand Image Skincare UK has appointed award-winning industry
spa and wellness leader Kay Pennington as its new brand ambassador.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Pennington has been selected to elevate confidence, sharpen focus and enhance motivation across the brand’s partner spas and skincare clinics.

Leigh Wilson, UK sales manager at Image Skincare UK, said: “Kay’s extensive knowledge – combined with her inspiring leadership qualities – make her an invaluable asset to our brand.

“We’re confident that her expertise will elevate our position in the market and strengthen our relationships with our B2B partners.”

A trained therapist, Pennington has been consistently recognised for her leadership excellence with numerous awards throughout her career. This has included positions with Boots, Virgin Atlantic, Ellisons, Sweet Squared and most recently Aqua Sana Group where she served as group spa manager from 2016 to 2023.

In this capacity, she led the strategic management of six destination spas across the UK and Ireland, overseeing teams and spearheading significant multi-million-pound refurbishment projects.

In 2024, Pennington distilled her expertise in resilience and strategic thinking to develop a leadership workshop programme called Resilience & Power.

Designed for spa professionals at all levels – from seasoned operators to newcomers – the programme aims to help attendees strengthen their leadership skills, learn how to uphold service excellence and manage industry pressures with resilience.

Commenting on her new role, Pennington said: “I’m thrilled to collaborate with the Image UK team and share insights from Resilience & Power across their esteemed portfolio of spas, salons and clinics.

“Having followed the brand’s journey since its inception by Janna Ronert in 2003, I’m excited to align with a company whose mission and values focus on authenticity and longevity, making this partnership a natural fit.”

Professional skincare and spa brand Image Skincare UK has appointed award-winning industry
spa and wellness leader Kay Pennington as its new brand ambassador.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Pennington has been selected to elevate confidence, sharpen focus and enhance motivation across the brand’s partner spas and skincare clinics.
