– Freddie Moross
There is an ever-growing body of evidence to support the power of the positive impact of music on our minds and bodies. Wellness music company Myndstream wants to help spas bring these benefits to guests and has recently launched its subscription-based music service for spas and independent therapists.

Called Myndstream Spa Music Service, the web-based platform provides access to music which has been intentionally created and curated to improve wellbeing outcomes in a therapeutic environment.

Guided by results of the latest academic studies, Myndstream engages its roster of musicians to create new works for the spa market with frequencies, tonalities and tempos that research shows can have a direct effect on relaxation and mood enhancement.

According to Myndstream, the service is a simple one-stop solution that lives at the intersection of art and science, providing operators and clients with the best audio experience possible. The music ranges in style and design to fit a range of spa environments.

Offering access to more than 50 bespoke playlists, the Spa Music Service also provides a fully licensed proposition to business owners, features content from award-winning wellbeing musicians and accommodates unlimited logins to create a cost-effective solution.

Importantly, the Spa Music Service lets spas to retain central control over their music while allowing for guest and therapist preferences.

The service is available for US$250 (€232, £205) annually, with an additional US$150 (€139, £123) charge per extra location. Unlike other services, the spa is not charged by zone or user.

Freddie Moross, CEO of Myndstream, said: “Through our research with spas and the development of a simple online platform, we’ve created a fantastic opportunity for spa owners and therapists to transform the audio experience during treatments.

“We’re really excited to launch the service and will continue to evolve the music proposition through a research programme with spas, to ensure we’re always meeting the needs of individual therapists and their clients.”
