Phytomer expands marine range with new signature hydration facial

The French brand has produced a mist, serum and mask containing weaving algae oil.
Phytomer has launched a six-step 60-minute signature facial – Hydra Original Plumping Thirst-Relief Facial with organic algae – along with three new exclusive products.

The French brand has produced a mist, serum and mask containing weaving algae oil. All three carry the signature scent of Phytomer’s moisturising retail range – marine and fresh notes softened by rose and water lily notes.

The treatment promotes the synthesis of the main components of dermis and epidermis (sebum, lipids and water) and also maintains skin hydration.

The Hydra-Exfoliating Mist is designed to be sprayed and massaged over the face and neck, and doesn’t require rinsing. The mist is claimed to hydrate and exfoliate the skin using protease enzymes.

Phytomer’s Replenishing Hydrating Serum is an oil serum containing organic weaving algae oil, organic glasswort oil, sunflower oil and apricot kernel oil. It should be applied to the face and neck using massage strokes and light tapping movements.

In its original form, the Hydrating Creamy Mask is a powder that requires reconstitution with water. The product contains nori algae specks, weaving algae oil and glasswort specks and is applied in a medium-thick layer to the face and neck and left for 10-15 mins. Excess cream is massaged in for one minute and then rinsed.

Phytomer is incorporating these products into its new Hydra Original facial. The treatment begins with make-up removal, followed by soft exfoliation using the mist and a pore heating mask. Next, the face is massaged and applied with Phytomer’s new serum and then the creamy mask. To finish, Phytomer Youth Control and Hydra Original Thirst-relief Melting Cream are applied.

This treatment will replace Phytomer’s Hydra Blue Moisturising Facial, which has been discontinued, but the professional sizes of Hydrasea Serum and Mask are still available.

Mathilde Gédouin-Lagarde, marketing and communications director for Phytomer says: “This multi-sensory facial helps your skin recover its original hydration levels. The facial pairs high-performance organic marine active ingredients with a relaxing facial massage to leave your skin plumped, revitalised and more luminous than ever”.
