Three new European museums have been illuminated using Raylights supplied by the Light Projects Group.
Designed by Hans Wolff & Partners, Lighting Designers, the Rijks Museum voor Volkenkunde in Leiden, the Joods Historisch Museum in Amsterdam and the Varlds Kultuur Museet in Gothenburg, Sweden are all using the Raylight, already installed in the UK's British Museum, V&A Museum and Royal Academy of Arts.
Raylights are particularly designed for museums, art galleries, retail and other display lighting applications and can house a range of accessories such as UV and IR filters, louvres, coloured or dichroic glass, frosted glass, various light-reducing scrims and beam elongators and smoothers.
The latest version - the Raylight CDMR - has been launched to incorporate the new Philips CDM-R 111 lamp. The new fitting can also take the MR16 and SDMR Par 30 lamps.
