When you venture outside, whether for work, rest or play, it’s so important to look after your skin
– Michael McClean, head of product, Templespa |
British skincare company Templespa has launched Body Defence SPF30 as part of its sunscreen range.
The moisturiser hydrates the skin with added vitamin E and provides high broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays.
In addition to UVA and UVB filters, the formula contains sodium hyaluronate, which is known for its moisture-restoring properties.
Body Defence SPF30 has a signature scent that blends woody notes of sandalwood with floral cyclamen and fruity green aromas of blackcurrant.
Body Defence joins two other sun protection products, the protecting lip balm called Lip Defence and the moisturiser called Life Defence.
Both Lip and Life Defence products’ botanicals are different to the Body Defence moisturiser. The two existing products contain the herb extract known as cica, soothing peppermint and ginseng root extract.
Michael McClean, head of product, Templespa, said: “When you venture outside, whether for work, rest or play, it’s so important to look after your skin. Using a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF moisturiser with a high level of protection is the single biggest thing you can do to protect your skin. Our Life Defence SPF30/50 face moisturiser proved so popular with our customers that they were asking when a body SPF product would be coming. Body Defence SPF30 has met this demand, its glossy texture is easy to apply and instantly melts into the skin, while the silky, non-greasy after-feel provides comfort and protection. We think it’s this experience combined with the performance of the product that has made the launch so successful.”
