Wildsmith Skin is offering spa partners an auditory experience called Treescape to complement its treatments – created in collaboration with award-winning sound artist Justin Wiggan.
Crafted using sounds from the Wildsmith arboretum on the Heckfield Estate, Wiggan translates the wisdom of trees into a deeply restorative sonic journey.
Developed through biosonification, a process that converts the electrical impulses of trees, roots, soil and sky into sound, Treescape transforms unseen nature into an immersive soundscape.
Central to the composition are solfeggio frequencies – historically associated with healing and resonance. Tones such as 528Hz (linked to cellular regeneration) and 396Hz (used for emotional release) are layered with biosonified signals to help reduce stress, support emotional balance, and promote deep relaxation.
A unique offering for Wildsmith's wellbeing partners, Treescape is integrated into all Wildsmith's wellbeing treatments. This combined therapy offers guests a unique experience, designed to enhance restoration and create a remarkable immersive atmosphere – wherever their journey begins.

Composed in six movements, Treescape invites listeners to move through canopy, soil, wind and root, attuning themselves to the unseen rhythms of the forest – and to discover sound as a pathway to renewal.
