The launch of the Lyma App marks a pivotal shift for us – from being a product-led company to becoming a fully integrated technology ecosystem
– Lucy Goff, founder of Lyma

Longevity innovation company Lyma, most well-known for its clinic-grade Lyma Laser, has introduced an AI-powered face-scanning app for skin analysis and treatment protocols.

The Lyma App offers skin analysis technology that has been trained on more than three million skin photos of all skin types and tones to identify skin tone uniformity, signs of ageing and changes over time.

It provides users with scores across 12 key skin metrics, including wrinkles, pigmentation, breakouts, dark circles, pores and sagging.

The system provides personalised routines based on individual skin concerns and goals. The scanning tech is used every 30 days to track progress.

It also has a feature that allows users to log the laser sessions they complete and supplements taken.

There are how-to videos for specific skincare concerns, smart reminders to support consistent behaviours, access to expert support and a place to log photos throughout treatment.

Lucy Goff, founder of Lyma, told Spa Business: “The launch of the Lyma App marks a pivotal shift for us – from being a product-led company to becoming a fully integrated technology ecosystem. We’ve always combined medical-grade science with consumer accessibility, but this new digital platform brings clinical-level skin analysis and personalised protocols into the hands of our customers, setting a new standard for how med-tech, beauty and data-driven wellness come together.”

The app is designed to be used alongside Lyma’s Supplement collection and the Lyma Laser – after visiting a spa for treatments using the Lyma Laser Pro.

Lyma

Lyma is a British company that launched in 2018 with its supplement collection. These supplements are backed by ten peer-reviewed studies and patented ingredients.

It has since created what it calls a complete Youth System, designed to counteract the biological drivers of ageing at a cellular level. This ecosystem includes a range of products.

It introduced the clinic-grade Lyma Laser in 2020 for at-home use.

In 2023, it added Lyma Skincare to its portfolio, comprising an anti-ageing serum and cream duo.

The professional spa and beauty product, Lyma Laser Pro, was launched in 2024.
