Yon-Ka Paris has developed a broad-spectrum suncream called SPF 50+ Mineral Fluid.

The formula, which is exclusively launching in the US for now, is designed for daily protection against 98 per cent of UVA and UVB rays.

It uses a solution containing 12 per cent non-nano zinc oxide, which provides a light-protective filter – reflecting UV rays to scatter their intensity.

Additional brightening, soothing and hydrating ingredients found within the formula include three per cent niacinamide, allantoin and bisabolol.

The fluid is described as weightless, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and does not produce a white cast. It is also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes.

The product has been created to meet the demand for a multi-tasking SPF treatment that can prevent damage, minimise pigmentation, calm sensitivity and work as a base under make-up. 

Angelique Hernandez, US sales and marketing director for Yon-Ka Paris, said: “Sun protection should do more than shield the skin; it should care for it. Our 100 per cent mineral SPF 50+ was designed as true skincare: weightless, invisible on every skin tone, and infused with actives that help prevent photoaging while respecting even the most sensitive skin and our oceans. It’s not just sunscreen, it’s everyday skin health.” 

The mineral solution has been designed to meet ocean-friendly standards, with no chemical filters that can impact on marine environments.

The suncream can be applied at the end of a morning skincare ritual alone or under make-up and can be re-applied throughout the day.

The product comes in two sizes: 30ml, costing US$44 (€41, £34) and 60ml, costing US$74 (€68, £58).

Yon-Ka Paris has developed a broad-spectrum suncream called SPF 50+ Mineral Fluid.

The formula, which is exclusively launching in the US for now, is designed for daily protection against 98 per cent of UVA and UVB rays.

It uses a solution containing 12 per cent non-nano zinc oxide, which provides a light-protective filter – reflecting UV rays to scatter their intensity.
