TRIB3 launches reformer Pilates brand – PILAT3S

TRIB3 is entering the Reformer Pilates space with a new brand PILAT3S
The reformer Pilates concept will offer an immersive studio experience
Executive chair, Jonathan Fisher, told HCM he's confident this approach will take Pilates into the mainstream
Sites are already lined up in Europe and the UAE
The team behind TRIB3 has launched a reformer Pilates studio concept called PILAT3S, which will be available either as a standalone franchise, or as a club-in-club concept, aiming to take the exercise modality into the mainstream.

Blending traditional Pilates with TRIB3’s methodology and tech ecosystem, the concept features three 50-minute classes – Tone, Align and Power. All programmes include regressions and progressions to make them suitable for all fitness levels.

The team believes PILAT3S offers a twist on traditional Pilates and will help demystify it and appeal to a broader audience. “Our goal is to maximise the enjoyment and benefits of Pilates by giving it the TRIB3 treatment and making it scalable,” says TRIB3 COO, Matteo Cerruti. “ TRIB3’s tech is key to its success, making the HIIT experience accessible and immersive. We’ve taken the lighting, programming and music and moulded it to complement PILAT3S.”

Studios are scheduled to open in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and UAE in 2024. TRIB3´s franchise partner in Sharjah, UAE, was the first to sign a co-studio franchise agreement and will be opening both TRIB3 and PILAT3S studios this summer. Other franchise partners are exploring the idea of introducing a PILAT3S studio to their existing TRIB3 location.

Executive chair, Jonathan Fisher, says the two brands complement each other well: “Our research has shown that HIIT users are very interested in complementing their training with an exercise modality such as Reformer Pilates, conversely, Pilates users want to introduce some element of additional strength and calorie-burn to their training regime.”

END NOTE
Reformer Pilates is currently on an upwards trajectory.

Xponential is aggressively rolling out itsClub Pilates brand and launched in London this year.

F45 has launched a new reformer Pilates brand called Vaura Pilates in New York City.

United Fitness Brands has recently launched the Reformcore brand and Third Space has partnered with Balanced Body for its new Wimbledon site offering a state-of-the-art Reformer Pilates studio.
