Anantara to enter Dubai with new resort

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is set to launch its first property in Dubai - Anantara Dubai Palm Jumeirah Resort and spa - in September 2013.

Located on Dubai's iconic Palm Jumeirah, the resort will offer 293 guestrooms and suites with 130 guestrooms featuring direct access to 11,000 sq m (118,403 sq ft) of lagoon pools.

An Anantara Spa with 12 treatment rooms will feature. Exact spa details will be revealed later in spring.

The resort will have its own private beach as well as three natural lagoons and a shoreline infinity pool.

Six themed restaurants and bars include an all-day restaurant serving Middle Eastern and international cuisine, an Australian inspired grill, an Asian restaurant and a beachfront Mediterranean restaurant.

Meanwhile, Anantara's signature 'Dining by Design' concept will allow guests to dine with a private chef and butler.

Other facilities include a fitness studio, two tennis courts, water sports and an entertainment area.

Anantara's has three existing properties in Abu Dhabi - Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara and Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa in Abu Dhabi City.
