Annika Sofia Bjorka has been appointed spa director at Clinique La Prairie’s first facility outside of Europe –
Clinique La Prairie Aesthetics & Medical Spa at the St. Regis Bangkok.
The new 1,500sq m medi-spa in Thailand exclusively provides cellular skincare treatments from Swiss Perfection.
The facility is spread across two floors and includes 16 treatment rooms, a hammam, rain showers, Thai herbal steamrooms and a twilight rasul, as well as vitality pools, foot reflexology water walks and relaxation pods.
With over 14 years’ experience in luxury hospitality and spa, Bjorka has worked in a host of spa leadership roles and has previously worked for Anantara, Per Aquum and Steiner.
Her new role will have her oversee a team of medical spa professionals and specialists with expert knowledge of contemporary science and advanced technology to ensure bespoke experiences, tailor-made programmes promoting longevity and beauty with a results-driven focus.

A Swedish national with a proven track record in beauty and spa, Bjorka is a graduate of SHMS, Leysin, Switzerland and holds a diploma in hotel management.
