Hyatt Hotels has launched the Wellbeing Collective Advisory Board (WCAB), featuring seven industry specialists, including Deepak Chopra. The board will focus on enhancing Hyatt’s holistic wellbeing offerings, with a particular emphasis on elevating meetings, events, and guest experiences through innovative wellness practices.

The board will guide Hyatt in creating distinctive experiences that support guests’ evolving wellbeing needs. Members include:
• Dr Alfiee Breland-Noble: Mental health specialist, nonprofit founder and collaborator with Miraval Resorts & Spas, one of Hyatt’s leading wellness brands.
• Ally Love: CEO/founder of Love Squad, Peloton instructor, Today Show On-Air contributor.
• David Stewart: Founder of Super Age and Ageist.
• Deepak Chopra MD: Physician, author and wellness specialist.
• In-Q: Emmy-nominated poet, songwriter, master convener and advocate for mental wellbeing.
• Dr John Scott: Head of LearningDesign and strategy at MasterClass.
• Juliet Funt: Author of A Minute to Think, Fortune 500 advisor and creator of Hyatt’s Mindful Meetings Guide.

“Whether travelling for business or leisure, now more than ever, our guests are seeking meaningful experiences that foster connection, build community and enhance their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing,” says TJ Abrams, Hyatt’s VP of global wellbeing.

“The new board unites leading voices across various industries to help us innovate around the way people gather and elevate the travel journey through intentional wellbeing offerings, with a focus on ensuring our guests and customers leave feeling rejuvenated and fulfilled.”

As part of its initiatives, the WCAB will also support the expansion of Hyatt’s Wellbeing Collective, a growing portfolio of properties offering wellness-driven experiences for group stays and meetings. These include guided meditations via Headspace, Miraval-inspired breaks, MasterClass courses, sleep programs, Peloton rewards and outdoor activities designed to boost focus, creativity and energy.

This aligns with Together by Hyatt, the company’s approach to meetings and events that emphasises wellbeing, meaningful connections and a seamless planning experience. By integrating expert-backed tools, content and wellness experiences, Hyatt aims to help planners create gatherings that are more engaging, restorative and productive.
