Hotel and resort operator Hyatt has opened a 178-suite hotel in the Canyons Resort of Park City, Utah, US.
Facilities at the Hyatt Escala Lodge include an after-ski area with steamroom, heated swimming pools, spa pools and a fitness zone.
The hotel was developed by SDI Realty Group, a privately held real estate company based in Provo, Utah.
The ski-in, ski-out condominium hotel property is located at the base of the Sunrise Chairlift in the Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah - the largest ski and snowboard area in Utah with 4,000 skiable acres.
Elsewhere, Hyatt is preparing to a new hotel in New York City in 2011.
The 116-bedroom Hyatt 48Lex will be located in Midtown at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 48th Street and will be the first new purpose-built Manhattan hotel to be constructed in 10 years.
