Dubai-based international hotel group Jumeirah is to operate its first European resort and spa development in Mallorca's Port Soller area.

Opening in early 2011, the Spanish hotel will include 120 sea- or harbour-facing guestrooms and suites, all with a terrace or balcony.

There will also be a large spa and wellness centre covering more than 21,527sq ft (2,000sq m) and including a number of treatment rooms as well as other facilities.
