Pulse Fitness strengthens relationship with South Downs Leisure Trust
POSTED 24 Aug 2016 . BY Deven Pamben
The fitness suite that will boast 60 stations of Pulse’s Series 3 cardio equipment
Leisure solutions provider Pulse Fitness has been selected to refurbish Worthing Leisure Centre and create a modern gym kitted out with the latest technology.

South Downs Leisure Trust, which manages Worthing Leisure Centre in West Sussex, has worked with Pulse for the past 15 years, building a strong relationship in that period.

The equipment provider will be up-to-dating the gym, with a fitness suite that will boast 60 stations of Pulse’s Series 3 cardio equipment. It will also install a Titan functional training rig.

The refurbishment is valued at approximately £150,000.

All equipment will be fitted with Pulse’s member management software - PulseMove - to help retention and grow membership by 25 per cent. The software comprises an in-gym kiosk, website and mobile app, which allows member data to be collected both in and outside the gym.

As part of the contract Pulse has provided a five-year warranty, full training for the gym staff on all products to ensure they are able to help members get the most out of the new equipment, and a marketing support package.

Phil Griffin, Pulse international sales manager, said: “We are delighted to further our working relationship with Worthing Leisure Centre with this new installation at the centre. We have liaised closely with the team to select the perfect mix of equipment to attract a broad range of the community to the centre and create a truly modern fitness facility.”

Duncan Anderson, South Downs Leisure Trust chief executive, said: “We have been thoroughly impressed by Pulse over the past 15 years as they have shown themselves to be reliable partner, providing us with not only fantastic equipment but also great support. They truly understand the wants and needs of our customers and we look forward to working alongside them for the next five years as we expand our offering.”
