The first Hotel Missoni Spa has opened in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Facilities include two treatment rooms and a Chill Zone where guests can enjoy healthy snacks and refreshments before and after treatments.

The spa offers a selection of body and beauty treatments supplied by Eve Lom and Natura Bissé - including the Diamond Lifting facial created especially for the Edinburgh property.

The interior of the spa has been designed by Missoni co-founder Rosita Missoni and includes the company's signature spectrum of colours.

The spa will complete the phased opening of the five-star Hotel Missoni, which has been open to guests since June 2009.

The Missoni branded hotels are operated by the Rezidor Group. The next Missoni property is scheduled to open in Kuwait early next year (2011).
