Five online courses launched by Raison d’Etre’s educational arm
POSTED 23 May 2017 . BY Matthew Campelli
Nikos Kouremenos said it was important for training to be flexible
Spa Business Education – the educational arm of the Raison d’Etre Group – has launched five new training courses for professionals in the spa, beauty and fitness sector.

The five courses cover: spa finance; marketing; public relations and social media; leadership, group dynamics and conflict management; and strategic human capital management.

All five courses have been selected as individual specialist training courses from Spa Business Education’s seven-module Spa Management Program.

Courses are available online – making them accessible on a global basis – and take between two and three weeks to complete. Each course includes training videos, a written study manual, assignments and tests. Those taking the course will also receive support from the course instructors throughout for the duration of their study period.

Course instructors are all experienced spa professionals from Raison d’Etre, who have managed more than 120 spas in 60 countries. They have trained and developed managers, therapists and staff.

Nikos Kouremenos, education and project manager at Spa Business Education, said that the organisation “recognised the need to be more flexible” in terms of its training offer.

“While all our courses run online allowing our students to start their training anytime anywhere, we became aware that not everyone has the same education needs at any one time,” he added.

“We pride ourselves on delivering high quality training that equips our students with the tools and knowledge to perform to the best of their ability and believe these new one module training courses will help them to achieve greater success both personally and for their respective organisations.”
