This year’s World Wellness Weekend (WWW) will be the largest to date, reaching over 140 countries and involving over 4,000 venues, including spas, gyms and a range of other wellness, tourism and hospitality destinations.

Hosted on 16-18 September, WWW is an annual event that aims to highlight the importance of wellness and help people adopt healthier lifestyles – as well as foster positive relationships with their bodies and minds – by offering the public opportunities to take part in activities.

The event was founded by Jean-Guy de Gabriac, owner of consultancy and training company Tip Touch International.

He said: “WWW aims to provide immersive and transformative wellness experiences.

“Our mission is to help millions of people become the best version of themselves, and also socialise in meaningful ways with their local communities so that we can live better, together.”

Prominent wellness destinations, including Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Peninsula Hot Springs, Rancho la Puerta and Farris Bad have committed to celebrating the sixth instalment of the event and will host events for guests, locals and associates.

Hotel groups with established spa concepts are also supporting the event, such as Anantara, Banyan Tree, Dusit, Four Seasons, Marriott, Six Senses and more.

The activity line-up so far includes a diverse selection of free immersive wellness activities and workshops including laughter yoga, acupuncture, energy healing, equestrian therapy, sauna Aufguss, storytelling sustainability and much more.

Celebrated on five continents, the event has secured the support and participation of 60 organisations and trade bodies such as ISPA, IHRSA, the Wellness Tourism Association, CIDESCO, the Sustainable Spa Association, the International Sauna Association, G3T and Green Spa Network.

WWW is a non-profit aligned with the United Nations’ SDG3 (Good Health and Wellbeing For All). The event concept is based on five pillars of wellness: better sleep to increase creativity, better nutrition to strengthen immunity, more movement to enhance vitality, a deeper sense of mindfulness to enjoy serenity and a heightened sense of purpose to share more solidarity.

Find out how to register and get involved with the event on WWW’s official website.
