Resense to create three-storey wellness destination in Bangkok
POSTED 05 Jun 2019 . BY Jane Kitchen
Some notable features of the urban wellness destination come in the form of a glass- fronted sauna and a pool with a view over the city and Lumpini Park
International wellness company Resense has been commissioned to design, implement and support the management of a new urban wellness destination in Bangkok: Sindhorn Wellness by Resense.

Planned to open in Q4 2019, the wellness area will spread over three floors, for a total of 1,600sq m (17,222sq ft), and will aim to become a green oasis in the city where guests can connect with nature.

The wellness area will include an extensive and comprehensive thermal circuit, which will offer a micro-salt sauna, an aromatherapy steam room, a Rasul mud room, and a tepidarium.

A wellness circuit will include cryotherapy, floatation, and Vichy treatment rooms, while a detox circuit will feature hydrobath and dry floatation treatments.

Sindhorn Wellness will have advanced treatments and facials on its menu, which will embrace the rich traditions of Thailand and of South East Asia and blend them with modern and result-focused treatments. Nutritionists and naturopaths will also be on staff.

Some notable features of the urban wellness destination come in the form of a glass-fronted sauna and a pool with a view over the city and Lumpini Park. Other design features include an aroma-infused starry sky ceiling design in the steam room and a Himalayan salt wall in the thermal circuit.

Other leisure facilities in the hotel include a boutique fitness experience, which will offer the latest technology in terms of virtual and live spinning, various boutique exercise studios designed for yoga, HIIT training and Pilates, a gym, a functional exercise space, as well as personal training options. Fitness facilities will be available for hotel guests as well as local members.
