Les Roches Spa, situated in the grounds of a 19th century farm, opened its doors in mid-December 2003 and is now fully complete.

The £1m spa offers a 35ft indoor swimming pool, a whirpool, sauna, four treatment rooms and an alpha oxygen spa.

The selection of treatments includes a range of traditional beauty therapies, reflexology, reiki and hot stone therapy.

Les Roches aims to attract business travellers looking to mix business and relaxation and offers accommodation in four self-catering cottages and a number of en-suite luxury apartments.

In-room facilities for the spa treatments are also provided.

A spokesperson for the facility said: “Our corporate function rooms allow businesses to come and enjoy a mixture business and pleasure. We will be providing an expert in work-related stress, who will provide lectures and workshops.

“Due to our secluded location, visitors can also enjoy long walks or runs in the surrounding country side,” she said.
