The Well is working on realising its second wellness residential project in Miami in partnership with developer Terra
The eight-floor building, located in Miami's historic Coconut Grove neighbourhood, will be home to 194 residences and a range of high-end modern wellness amenities
The vision for The Well Coconut Grove is to offer a space for residents to “thrive physically, mentally and spiritually”
With outposts in New York City, Costa Rica, Connecticut and Mexico, the Well is expanding internationally and working on its debut property in Europe
International wellness brand The Well is working on creating a brand new wellness-centric residential and membership community in Miami, Florida.

Set to open in Q1 2028, The Well Coconut Grove will be home to 194 residences across eight floors, paired with state-of-the-art wellbeing amenities designed to help residents “thrive physically, mentally and spiritually”.

Facilities will include:
● A 13,000sq ft wellness centre – home to a communal bathhouse, crystal cave relaxation lounges, a hyperbaric chamber and a Vitality Lounge, as well as physical therapy and functional medicine services.
● A 40,000sq ft tropical rooftop oasis – featuring a private pool, hot and cold plunges, cabanas and a pickleball court.
● Social spaces – including an aperitif bar, a tea garden and the Conservatory, an indoor/outdoor area for coworking and IV therapy.
● Personalised wellness services including bi-annual health coaching sessions, curated events and preferred pricing on treatments, plus access to modern wellness tech such as Theraguns, infrared blankets and lymph boots.

The Well is collaborating with Miami-based real estate developer Terra to realise the project, with construction scheduled to begin in Q4 2025. Terra has already partnered with The Well to develop its first branded residences in Miami – The Well Bay Harbor Islands – set to open in Q3 2025.

David Martin, CEO of Terra, said: “With The Well Coconut Grove, we’re introducing a space that not only enhances wellness but also strengthens the sense of connection and vitality that makes this neighbourhood so unique.”

“We really value the partnership we've found with Terra,” added Kane Sarhan, co-founder and chief creative officer of The Well.

“David understands the immense potential when real estate is infused with wellness from top to bottom. We’re already seeing that potential realised as The Well Bay Harbor Islands comes to life. Now, in bringing The Well to Coconut Grove, we have an opportunity to build a truly unique community where people can live their happiest, healthiest lives.”

The project is being designed by architecture firm Arquitectonica, with interiors overseen by Meyer Davis.

Wider vision
Since launching its flagship location in New York City in 2019, The Well has steadily expanded into the hospitality space through a partnership with Auberge Resorts Collection. This collaboration includes properties in Connecticut, Costa Rica and Mexico. Looking ahead, The Well is set to open its first European location in 2027 at a newly renovated hotel in Geneva, Switzerland.
