POSTED 31 May 2023 . BY Megan Whitby

Industry event Spa Life UK is back for 2023 from 2-4 July at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park Hotel, in South Cerney.

The annual event is organised to equip attendees with valuable insights, educational content and knowledge that they can apply to elevate and strengthen their spa businesses.

In addition to a keynote speech and breakout sessions, there will be structured business development opportunities via a speed-networking forum, plus informal networking opportunities in the Expo Arena where brand partners and sponsors will showcase their latest products and innovations.

Spa Life UK's keynote for 2023 is Dr Glenda Rivoallan, DBA – a speaker, consultant, author and professional wellbeing strategist with over 28 years of experience in the fitness and wellness sectors.

Rivoallan is the founder of multiple wellness brands and specialises in the fields of resilience and mindful business. Through her companies We Talk Wellbeing and Fitmanor, Rivoallan works with individuals, teams and organisations to develop resilience to enable them to develop a culture of wellbeing and performance.

Ahead of the event, she has revealed that her keynote will focus on the theme of resilience.

“Join me for a fun, energising and engaging session where I'll take you through my ‘Resilient as Fudge’ method,” she says.

“Like fudge, to be resilient is to learn from ‘fudging it’. It requires you and your people to have your own unique balance of firmness and softness, realism and optimism, rationality and emotionality, doing and being."

During her keynote, Rivoallan will:
• Explore the four attitudes of the resilient mindset.
• Consider the resilient leader skill set.
• Explain the resilient U toolset which will support delegates to improve performance, embrace opportunities, retain top talent and help create a culture of happy and resilient people.

In addition to the keynote, SpaLife has procured a lineup of key industry figures to host breakout sessions such as hospitality guru and author Sonal Uberoi, Freddie Moross, CEO of wellness music company Myndstream, Diane Hey – spa education and training specialist – and many more.

The conference will also take the time to celebrate industry excellence with the presentation of the Good Spa Awards at the event’s Gala Dinner.
