The Spa and Wellness Awards 2025 will take place on the Saturday evening
The publisher of industry magazine Spa and Wellness will host its 2025 Wellness Summit for the Asia Pacific region at Gold Coast’s Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat in Australia between 17 and 19 October.
The event will provide professionals in the spa, wellness and hospitality industries opportunities to network, watch demonstrations of products and technology, experience immersive therapies and attend keynote presentations and panel discussions.
Speakers lined up to take part in the event include:
• Tony de Leede – founder and CEO of Wellness Solutions and founder of
Gwinganna and EcoRetreat.
• Dr Marc Cohen –
wellness doctor, past board member of the Global Wellness Summit and former president of the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association. Cohen is also founder of the Extreme Wellness Institute, co-owner of Maruia Hot Springs and medical director of Peninsula Hot Springs Group.
• John Toomey – international speaker, writer, and global chair of the Global Wellness Institute’s (GWI) Men’s Wellbeing Initiative, with a background in coaching professional football teams.
• Grant Ian Gamble – wellness strategist and co-creator of the Affinity OS tool used to improve workplace wellbeing. Gamble is also a member of the GWI’s Initiatives for Workplace Wellbeing and Wellness Communities and Real Estate.
• Farida Irani – holistic health practitioner, founder of
aromatherapy brand Subtle Energies and Ayurveda Yoga Australia.
• Gopal Kumar – GM and group director of wellness development at
Kamalaya Koh Samui.
• Samantha Dunn – a wellness professional with
more than 20 years’ consulting experience.
• Catrin Allsop – CEO of Australia’s South West – one of Western Australia’s five regional tourism organisations.
• Matt Frost – Digital and customer success manager at
Technogym.
• Camilla Thompson – a biohacking health coach, nutritionist and author.
• Sophie Hascher – founder of BrainFlowElite, a company focused on neurofeedback for brain health and cognitive performance.
• Dr Carlo Rinaudo – a registered chiropractor, researcher and educator. He’s also the clinical director and founder of multidisciplinary clinics in Sydney, Australia, called Brain Hub and Brain Hub Kids, which are focused on functional neurology and brain-based rehabilitation.
• Chris Barnes – biohacking specialist and epigenetic coach.
