Abigail James, facialist to the stars and known in the global press as “the queen of skin”, has been appointed as ESPA’s training director.

James’s two decades of clinical experience, education and consultancy will enable her to lead the evolution of the brand’s global treatment and education programmes.

Her priorities will include deepening therapist expertise, advancing protocol development and enhancing the spa and guest experience.

She is known for the creation of her own holistic therapy, Rejuvology, a rejuvenating facial contour massage. The protocol is now taught internationally.

Her other accomplishments include a background in entrepreneurship, coaching, digital communication and she’s the author of two books on skin health and ageing well – The Glow Plan: Face Massage for Happy, Healthy Skin in 4 Weeks and Love Your Skin.

Abigail said, “I’m delighted to join ESPA at such a meaningful time for the brand. This role is about honouring the heritage of ESPA while bringing fresh energy, insight and structure to our training and treatment philosophy.”

Daniel Golby, ESPA's managing director, said, "I am thrilled to welcome Abigail as our new training director at ESPA. With her exceptional expertise, innovative approach to skincare and dedication to wellness, she will be instrumental in advancing our training programs and global spa experiences.
