Good Pharma harnesses nature’s powerful ingredients from centuries of global wisdom

The craft functional beverage company Good Pharma has expanded its plant-based wellbeing-centric beverage selection with a new No Worries, Botanical, Mushroom & Jujube Seed Infusion Tea.

Partnered with MGM Resorts, The Ritz Carlton Resorts, Hyatt Hotels and Hard Rock Resorts, Good Pharma supplies spas with a selection of pour-over tea and coffee infuser blends to enhance guest wellbeing.

Each beverage incorporates a proprietary blend named Rxtract™ – made up of supportive mushroom extracts, adaptogenic plant extracts and amino acids – which Good Pharma claims reduces anxiety and provides a restorative effect.

Created by co-founders of whole-leaf tea company Mighty Leaf and husband and wife duo, Jill Portman and Gary Shinner, Good Pharma drinks can be used throughout the spa journey.

They suggest using the blends as an arrival welcome drink to set the tone of the experience or as a post-treatment beverage to help guests acclimatise after their chosen ritual.

“Throughout our Mighty Leaf years of travel through China, India and Europe, we discovered local rituals utilising nature’s powerful ingredients contributing to optimal living,” says Portman.

“Experiencing ‘food as medicine’ in proactive ways profoundly changed our lives forever and we became compelled to share our experiences. Good Pharma harnesses nature’s powerful ingredients from centuries of global wisdom.”

Good Pharma has developed a collection centred not only on providing a moment of self-care but also an exciting flavoursome experience. The beverage range can be enjoyed as hot or cold drinks and includes:

Brain Gain - Coffee & Mushroom Infusion: An Arabica coffee-bean infusion, enhanced with lion’s mane mushroom and rhodiola extracts to support cognitive health with focus and clarity. A sustained, “jitter-free” journey is enjoyed by introducing L-theanine; an amino acid found in green tea.

Resilience - Tea & Mushroom Infusion: A fresh brewed blend of chaga mushroom extract, green tea and supportive botanicals claimed to be powerful in antioxidant activity and support immunity.

No Worries - Herb & Jujube Seed Infusion: A plant-based infusion of Ayurvedic herbs of holy basil, ashwagandha and rooibos and more blended to usher the body and mind into a state of relaxation.

Rest Assured - Herb & Jujube Seed Infusion: This herbal infusion is blended to support restorative sleep through the power of passionflower, lemon balm, ashwagandha, holy basil and more.

The company supplies bulk brews for communal urns alongside single-serve pour-over infusers for spa guests to help themselves to at amenity stations.

Good Pharma blends can also be sold in spa retail boutiques as multipacks with seven pour-over infusers in each box. Each of these costs US$22.75 each (£18.80, €22.26), except Brain Gain which is priced at US$24.50 (£20.25, €23.97).

The craft functional beverage company Good Pharma has expanded its plant-based wellbeing-centric beverage selection with a new No Worries, Botanical, Mushroom & Jujube Seed Infusion Tea.
