A £25m leisure complex is to be built on the 145-acre EuroKent business park. in Thanet, Kent. The eight-acre complex will feature a ten-screen Cine UK multiplex cinema, and developers Rosefarm Estates say discussions are now underway to secure two restaurants, a health and fitness club, a bingo hall and bowling alley. Rosefarm Estates director Barry Neill said that the development will bring community benefits to Thanet in terms of jobs and amenities, and that it will provide a well needed boost to the leisure facilities in the area. Building work is expected to start in March 2002.
