Klafs' latest sun bed makes it possible, for the first time, to obtain a natural browning effect without the tanning unit being right on top of the sunbather.
The tanning element is fitted in the ceiling, allows generous space to relax both physically and mentally. At a distance of more than 2m to the lying area, it develops a gentle tanning effect and can accommodate either one or two people. It is also possible to enjoy the rays lightly clothed, in a bath robe for example.
The effect of the new bed is based on the principle of immediate pigmentation. Melanin - responsible for the browning of the skin - is newly formed, whilst UV rays stimulate, in particular, the transmission of the melanin already present in the upper skin layers.
Klafs says this creates a typical, naturally sustained tan, which neither damages the skin nor subjects it to a premature ageing process.
