Massage and wellness equipment manufacturer Earthlite has announced Rod Derifield will succeed Jim Chenevey as CEO.
Chenevey, who has served as CEO of Earthlite and its sister brand Living Earth Crafts for more than 20 years, will become chair of Earthlite’s board and chief innovation officer.
Derifield was previously president of Earthlite and has more than 30 years of executive experience in driving strategic growth, operational performance and acquisitions. He joined Earthlite in February of last year.
Before joining Earthlite, Derifield was president at Nexus Brand Holdings, where he scaled business through organic growth and strategic initiatives.
Derifield said: “I am honoured to step into the role of CEO at Earthlite. This company stands at an exciting intersection of legacy, innovation, and global potential.
Chenevey will focus on long-term strategic growth initiatives, new market opportunities and emerging technologies.
Chenevey said: “Rod’s leadership experience and strategic mindset are exactly what Earthlite needs as we enter our next era of growth. I could not be more confident in his ability to lead the organisation forward. I personally am excited to focus my time and attention on innovation in our rapidly growing wellness markets.”
