The UK Spa Association (UKSA) is proud to announce a new national partnership with Look Good Feel Better UK (LGFB), the leading cancer support charity dedicated to helping people manage the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatment.

This exciting collaboration will create a meaningful new avenue for the spa, beauty, and wellness industry to make a tangible and significant difference in cancer communities across the UK and in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Through the partnership, UKSA members – including hotels and spas, salons, product suppliers, therapists, and education and wellness professionals – will have the opportunity to directly support LGFB’s confidence-boosting workshops, local cancer community events, and fundraising initiatives, helping cancer patients to feel more like themselves during and after treatment.

“We are delighted to partner with Look Good Feel Better UK,” said Bobby Griffiths, General Manager of the UK Spa Association. “As an industry built around care, healing, and wellbeing, we have a unique role to play in supporting people during one of the most challenging times of their lives. This partnership gives our members a direct and impactful way to give back, using their skills and platforms to support those on their cancer journey.”

Formed 31 years ago, Look Good Feel Better UK now supports over 15,000 people each year across the UK, helping them regain confidence through expert-led workshops and practical support. These workshops focus on skin care and make-up, hair loss support and head wrapping, hand and nail care, styling for confidence (clothing), as well as a dedicated programme for men, offering straight-forward solutions and wellness support during their treatment. By joining forces with UKSA, the charity will be able to expand its reach, connect with more patients, and build new relationships with businesses and professionals passionate about making a difference.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the UK Spa Association and its vibrant network,” said Mark Flannery, Chief Executive of Look Good Feel Better UK. “The spa and wellness community understands better than anyone the power of touch, care, and connection. Together, we can help to provide education, safe spaces, peer support and wonderful experiences to those on their cancer treatment journey to help boost their self-confidence, reduce social isolation and to help people to live a life to the fullest during a significantly challenging time.”

The national partnership will officially launch in October 2025 with a series of joint initiatives, including support workshop delivery in hotel and spa venues, team volunteering opportunities, fundraising campaigns, awareness events, and bespoke training, all enabling spa and wellness professionals to become advocates and active supporters of people living with cancer.
