Clinique La Prairie upgrades Bangkok flagship with new mediwellness technology and treatments
POSTED 24 Jun 2021 . BY Megan Whitby
Clinique La Prairie Aesthetics & Medical Spa at the St. Regis Bangkok is the brand's first outpost outside of Europe
Luxury Swiss spa and wellness destination brand Clinique La Prairie has launched a new medical menu at its Bangkok Aesthetics & Medical Spa destination.

Complementing the existing beauty and wellness solutions already on offer, such as signature healing therapies and cellular high-tech face and body treatments, the medical-grade options include doctor-administered treatments spanning personal wellness, medical health and aesthetics.

Located at St Regis Bangkok and led by Dr Athip Nilkaeo, an experienced resident doctor joining from the highly-acclaimed Bumrungrad International Hospital, a team of Swiss-trained nurses and therapists will be providing treatments, including IV therapy, mesotherapy, non-invasive solutions and injectables.

The medical menu consists of a carefully selected range of treatments that harness scientific research and innovative technology.

Standout therapies include Exilis Ultra 360 – a non-invasive laser treatment promising tighter skin and firmer jawline with zero downtime.

Using penetrative technology to reach deep into the layers of your skin to stimulate the collagen, it is designed to effectively re-tighten areas that have lost their elasticity on the face or body.

Another gravity-fighting technology is the Thermage machine that uses radiofrequency energy to contour the skin by heating the underlying tissue and stimulating the body’s natural renewal of collagen for a visibly contoured and lifted face.

Those looking for instant results are recommended an Emsculpt treatment, described as a zero-effort body sculpting solution.

During a single treatment, targeted muscles are claimed to contract up to 20,000 times – about the same number of contractions achieved through 20,000 sit-ups, said to result in a naturally occurring fat loss.

To address stubborn fat deposits that don’t respond to diet and exercise, patients can try Cooltech’s cryolipolysis technology, colloquially known as “fat freezing”. For face and body contouring that doubles as an anti-cellulite solution, mesotherapy moulds the silhouette naturally through the administration of localised injections that provide stimulus and dissolve accumulated fat.

Lastly, a new treatment for female guests, Ultra Femme 360 is a pain-free solution addressing women’s intimate health concerns. Results are instant and range from vaginal rejuvenation and tightening achieved through rebuilding collagen and elasticity.

To enjoy the full spectrum of benefits at Clinique La Prairie Aesthetics & Medical Spa, an exclusive membership programme is available offering flexible packages that include private consultations, such as OligoScan health diagnostics, and tailor-made therapies in addition to wellness solutions.
