Spas across Florida offer luxury treatments for less in September

Spas in the US city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, are taking part in the Lauderdale Spa Chic event, where throughout the month of September people can experience resort spa luxury for less.

Seventeen spas in the city have signed up to the event, to help introduce consumers who are not normally spa-goers to the market. One of these spas is The Heavenly Spa at the Westin Diplomat Resort, according to local press.

This particular facility features 10 treatment rooms, a couples’ room and a salt steamroom in addition to a Vichy Shower, rain walk, relaxation area, spa café and mani-pedi stations. Products in-house include the Westin Heavenly range in addition to Aromatherapy Associates.

Treatments at most of these spas are priced at US$99 (€77, £61) each but this Spa Chic event means customers can access therapies at half price.

“They’re about 50 per cent off the regular treatment price, so you can get two treatments for what you would be paying for the price of one treatment,” said Jessica Savage of the Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.
