Waterflex and Sheffield-based company Aquatic Systems has created the Fits Pool, a modular aquafitness solution designed so that health clubs without swimming pools can offer aqua fitness training to their members.
The Fits Pool is an innovative, self-supporting pool. It is easy to install and dismantle, and features LED lighting, filtration and heating systems.
The pool is a complete personal fitness centre that combines the benefits of hydrotherapy with exercise, especially when used with the Aquabike.
The Aquabike is a new tool that provides different physical therapy options, and can train multiple users at the same time.
It is designed to deliver three key benefits: pressure therapy, lymphatic drainage and movement rehabilitation. It also can aid weight loss and increase fitness levels, as well as improving cardiovascular capacity and endurance. It is suitable for users of all ages and fitness levels, as the resistance and difficulty levels can be modified to suit the desired level of difficulty and training requirements.
Exercising in water can help reduce fatigue and pressure on joints, soothe aches, and help with balance. It can also improve mobility and flexibility, allowing patients to recover from surgery or an injury quicker, and experience a better quality of life and well-being.
